Use Of Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. They are used for many different purposes, from keeping a site working to tracking people across the web. This page explains, honestly and in detail, which ones nanobreak.eu uses.
The short version
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party technology of any kind. Nothing is loaded from external servers while you browse, so no one else can observe your visit through this site.
Cookies used on this website
| Cookie | Origin | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Joomla session cookie (random 32-character name) | First party | Keeps the browsing session on the server. Required for the site to work. | Session — deleted when you close the browser |
_cookieAllowed | First party | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie notice, so it is not shown again on every page. | Persistent |
Why no consent is required for these
Under the ePrivacy Directive and Article 6 GDPR, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user do not require prior consent. Both cookies above fall into that category: one keeps the session, the other stores your own choice about the notice. The notice is shown for transparency, not because we are asking permission to track you.
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Matomo or any other audience measurement.
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No social media pixels or "like" buttons that load from external servers.
- No embedded videos, maps or fonts served by third parties.
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook are plain hyperlinks. Those platforms receive no information about you unless you click and visit them, at which point their own policies apply.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie may prevent parts of the site from working correctly. Instructions for the most common browsers:
If this ever changes
If the project decides to add analytics or any other non-essential technology, this page will be updated first and your consent will be requested before any such cookie is installed.
